A Relaxing Visit To Nunya

As most know, Nunya is a VERY special place for us. It has been a few years since we visited the place we so cherish. With the weather finally improving and Megan old enough to appreciate the trip in, we decided it was time to go back. So we packed up our bikes. BIKES, I KNOW! Who rides bikes when you have horses? Seriously. Well the horses need shoes and our friends are not cool enough to have horses so the bikes seemed like a good compromise. We borrowed a cart for Megan to ride in and we were off! Ryan started out pulling Megan, but he realized he forgot something at the truck so he traded bikes with Dan and rushed back. When he returned, Dan wasn't about to give up pulling Megan. I mean who would? Going up the hills she was full of encouragement, "You can do it, DOCTOR DANNY." Once at the lake we enjoyed an afternoon of sun bathing, fishing, and good company. We were going to have lunch but, we learned you just cannot rely on friends whenever Ham is involved. Don't ask. So we snacked on bread, watermelon, granola bars, chips, and some string cheese we threw in for Megan. We finally headed back tinged back soon, with Trigger in tow!
