We all headed out for an afternoon at a pond, not far from the house. Trigger got to come along and he had a blast. Ryan and Megan worked hard catching fish and Trigger tried VERY hard to grab them when they were released. Despite his determination all the fish got away.

First we had to catch some worms, and lucky for us we had a big thunder storm on Friday evening and found MILLIONS of worms out on the road and behind the house. Who knew finding worms could be so much fun?! Megan always wanted to be first and was anxious to fish them out of puddles and off the road to put in her bucket. When we got home Ryan and Megan got a little bucket set up for them with "food" and lots of dirt. They are set for the season I think!Why yes, YES, her pants got wet so she did what any bright young three year old would do. She took them off.


She's certainly got the look! Megan is ready for fishing and playing a little fetch with her "favorite" dog, Trigger.


Perhaps Trigger needs to borrow Megan's hat?


Reeling in her first fish of the day, Megan is very proud of her bass with many more to come!


We need more worms.
