Our day begins out on the deck. We are dressed in pink (Megan and Jo-Lynn's favorite color) and ready to go in to town for breakfast and coffee with Dr. Danny and Jo-Lynn!


After her afternoon nap, we headed out for some fishing and horse fun! The horses recently moved into the creek area to eat all the brush and grass. Ryan had discovered the day prior that we have trout in our creek, so he and Megan did a bit of fishing right in our own backyard!


Ryan surprised us a few weeks ago with some new baby (juveline) bantam chicks. We have five new adorable babies and even a silky. We lost our last silky, James Cotton, to the jaws of our sweet, innocent Maizey a few years ago. It is great to see a new one in the yard, and Maizey is far, FAR away.
