Halloween Hullabaloo Moscow Parks and Recreation sponsored the 9th annual Halloween Hullabaloo from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday October 27th at the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center. The fall carnival included a coloring contest, arts and crafts, a pumpkin carving contest, cookie decorating, carnival games and more. Megan had a blast at her first annual Hullabaloo! This is the first year that she has had strong opinions (and she does have strong opinions) about her costume, and she absolutely loves her CaLella (Cinderella) dress. When we first entered the event she was a little overwhelmed, but after a little time she warmed right up. She was excited to see all of the costumes and wanted to touch them all, especially the Jo-Jo's and Dragons. She really enjoyed the carnival games, and has a surprisingly good arm! She was three for three on the bean bag toss, and we were all shocked! However, once she figured out there were prizes involved, she no longer wanted to "toss" them she wanted to pretend to throw them and then walk them over and place them into the cans. Her favorite game was the duck game, it was simple and the young men who worked that booth were very nice. She got her face painted on her way out and we all know how Megan loves to have her face painted. She was excited to see, but not touch, the Lion costume outside, and was sure to show him the "slowfer" (Flower) on her face as she passed by. I cannot even begin to describe all of the adorable things she said and did while we were at the event, but in summary I can say we all had a wonderful time and will definitely attend next year. (My guess is that Auntie Gina will not go to Spokane next year). Click on image to view larger picture. On our way there...
![]() The Duck game
This game was much harder.
Playing in the balloons was VERY fun.
Who wouldn't love bowling with pumpkins?
Back to the ducks...
Check out that arm!
On our way out, saying goodbye to the decorations and showing off her flower!
